Jot's Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Jot Chat application ("Jot Chat", "the platform", or "the product"), provided by Jot ("we", "us", "our", or "the company"). By accessing or using Jot Chat, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Overview

Welcome to Jot, the social chat platform built around real-time text.

This document intends to explain under which conditions Jot Chat may be used.

To use Jot Chat, you must be at least 13 years old. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

• Your Content: You retain ownership of the content you create or share on Jot Chat (e.g., messages, media). By posting content, you grant Jot a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display it as necessary to provide the platform.
• Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you share and its compliance with these Terms and applicable laws.
• Our Rights: The company reserves the right to monitor, remove, or restrict access to any content that violates these Terms, at our sole discretion.

6. Privacy

Your use of Jot Chat is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in compliance with applicable laws.

7. Intellectual Property

• Jot Chat, including its design, features, and branding, is owned by Jot and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our prior written consent.

8. Termination

• By You: You may stop using Jot Chat at any time and delete your account through the app settings.
• By Us: Jot may suspend or terminate your access to the platform if you violate these Terms or for any other reason, at our discretion, without prior notice.

• Jot Chat is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The company does not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jot will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Jot Chat, including loss of data or profits.
